Councillor Eric Plant has decided to retire from Acton Burnell Parish Council after serving on if for nearly 40 years.
During that time he has served as Chairman to the parish council on more than one occaision and seen many changes.
To show their appreciation the Parish Council are having a reception after the Annual Parish Meeting this year to recognise his acheivements.
This will take place at Pitchford Village Hall on Tuesday 9th May 2017 starting at 7.00pm.
The Annual Parish Meeting business will be conducted at the beginning of the meeting and this will be followd by a small presentation and light refreshments.
Every one is invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting and the reception afterwards.
